Welcome to Canvas in the Cloud. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing or using our website services.

 

1. Services Provided

Canvas in the Cloud offers affordable website design services for startups and small businesses. Our standard package includes:

  • A professionally designed website

  • A free domain name (if applicable)

  • Business email setup

  • Unlimited edits until completion

  • 100 free business cards

Additional services such as hosting, maintenance, and post-launch support are provided separately by our sister company, Hosting in the Cloud, at £99 per year (including VAT).

 

2. Payment & Refund Policy

✅ One-Time Payment – A full upfront payment of £99 is required before we begin work on your website.
✅ No Refunds – Due to the nature of digital services, all payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
✅ Annual Hosting Fee – If you choose to host with Hosting in the Cloud, an annual fee of £99 applies for hosting, maintenance, and support.

 

3. Website Delivery & Completion

  • Website completion typically takes 3-5 business days, depending on project complexity and client responsiveness.

  • Clients must provide the necessary content, images, and details required for the website.

  • Unlimited edits apply only before project completion; changes requested after final approval may incur additional charges.

 

4. Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment and project completion, ownership of the website and its content transfers to the client.

  • Canvas in the Cloud retains the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio.

  • The client may not resell or redistribute the website design without prior consent.

 

5. Hosting & Maintenance

  • Hosting in the Cloud offers web hosting and ongoing support for £99 per year.

  • Clients choosing third-party hosting are responsible for setting up and maintaining their hosting environment.

  • Canvas in the Cloud is not liable for any hosting-related issues if the client opts for an external provider.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

Canvas in the Cloud is not responsible for:
✔ Any losses incurred due to website downtime or third-party hosting failures.
✔ Unauthorized modifications made by the client after website completion.
✔ Any security breaches or hacking incidents on externally hosted websites.

 

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

  • The client engages in abusive or inappropriate behavior towards our team.

  • The client fails to provide necessary content within 30 days of payment.

  • The client violates any of these terms and conditions.

 

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any revisions.
